Oakie Beach Campground

Oakie Beach Campground is the first campground you reach as you drive on the west side of Alcova Lake on Lakeshore Drive.  Oakie Beach is a popular boating, fishing, and camping location because of the two boat ramps located at this campground.  The campground is WROS Classified Rural Developed and is a popular camping area.  The campground is aproximately 15 acres and has 21 RV/trailer campsites, 3 restrooms, and 1 large group shelter.

Oakie is noted for its open space and little shade.  The campground has a small bay on the north side that has a few small intimate campsites with a sandy shoreline and restroom facilities.  The rest o
f the campground to the south is primarily open.

Parking, Restroom, and 1 ADA accessible RV/trailer campsite are available.


Campground Fee-Information StationCamping sites are open / non-reservable.  Fees are $7 per night and can be paid at the fee station located at the entrance to the campground area.
A large group shelter is available for rent/reservation, call (307) 235-9311.  ADA accessible.

 

Campground Rules:

  • NO LIFEGUARDS, Swim At Own Risk.
  • Quiet Hours observed from 10PM to 7AM.
  • No glass beverage containers.
  • Pets must be on a leash or in a crate/cage.
  • Four-Wheelers (ATVs,MPVs) must stay on paved or gravel roads.  Driving on shoreline or off-road is prohibited.
  • CLEAN YOUR BOAT & TRAILER BEFORE entering Wyoming rivers and lakes. Currently none of the Wyoming reservoirs contain invasive mussels.
